PS-OPUS

PS-Opus is a solution developed to support the management and operation of water supply systems. The system integrates IoT technology and data analysis to provide effective management solutions for water supply enterprises.

Managing a complex, geographically dispersed water supply system is a significant challenge. Water utilities frequently face high levels of Non-Revenue Water (NRW), difficulty in monitoring network pressure, and a lack of centralized data for optimal operational decision-making.

PS-Opus, the "Water Opus" smart management solution, was developed by PISA to address these challenges head-on. It is a holistic solution designed to support the comprehensive management and operation of water supply systems. By integrating IoT technology and advanced data analytics , PS-Opus provides water utilities with a powerful tool to monitor, control, and optimize their network.

Core Functional Pillars of PS-Opus:

  1. Executive Monitoring Dashboard This is the manager's Digital Command Center. PS-Opus provides a single dashboard interface that visualizes all key performance indicators (KPIs) of the system. Users can track the status of the entire network in real-time and receive immediate alerts for any incidents or issues that arise.
  2. Network Monitoring and Control (SCADA & Network Control) Going beyond the limits of traditional SCADA, PS-Opus delivers detailed monitoring and control capabilities. The system visually displays the entire network on a GIS map , allowing operators to closely track critical parameters like pressure and flow , as well as continuously monitor water quality. More importantly, PS-Opus enables the planning and remote control of network assets (such as valves and pumps), helping to optimize pressure, reduce pipe bursts, and save energy.
  3. Intelligent NRW (Non-Revenue Water) Management This feature delivers direct financial value. PS-Opus provides a dedicated module for loss management. The system not only tracks the water loss rate in real-time but also uses advanced analytical algorithms to automatically analyze and isolate (zone) areas with high suspected leakage. Based on this analysis, the system recommends solutions and supports field crews in addressing leaks quickly and accurately.

Benefits:

  • Reduced Non-Revenue Water (NRW): Quickly and accurately identifies leaks, helping to recover lost revenue.
  • Optimized Operations: Intelligently controls network pressure, reducing pump energy costs and extending asset lifespan.
  • Enhanced Service Quality: Ensures water quality and stable pressure for customers while reducing service interruption times.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Provides accurate, centralized data to help leadership make effective investment and maintenance strategies.
